Unwanted additional info: denominations sixpence through crown went to CuNi in 1947. Only maundy continued to made in silver after 1946 (in fact it went back to being sterling silver).

  • Not Unwanted info at all.....Thanks

I am working through an interesting project tonight. Putting some of my british coins in flips. I have a box of 100 or so british coins dating from the 1860s through present. Most of these were given to me when I was a kid so I think they were searched for silver and anything of value before they were given to me but still a fun little project.

    Thanks again for the info
