A question about British Trade Dollars
![DorkGirl](https://us.v-cdn.net/6027503/uploads/authoricons/thDSCN11401[1].jpg)
Are the British Trade dollars faked by the Chinese as much as the American ones? I really like the look of the British coins and am scared to death by their American counterparts. Do I need to worry about fakes? Thanks for your help, Becky

Be afraid Becky - be very afraid!
The Chinese (and Bulgarian) productions range from poor off-size/weight cast replicas that shouldn't fool anyone familiar with the appearance of struck silver coinage, to examples as good or better than the one Trozau has posted.
Becky, good luck! By the way, I think Wybrit still has a few genuine British Trade Dollars for sale on his website, and perhaps Ajaan has some too. You could always start a thread entitled "Help! British Trade Dollars wanted".
