He says coin pictured is the item the winning bidder will receive and he guarantees it is genuine. The pictures of the display are stock photos. He does not guaranty grade or value of the item. The seller's return policy is ten days from the posted shipping date (including Saturday and Sunday), which I take to mean if it takes longer than ten week days for the mail to get it to the buyer, the buyer has no return option.
The seller is being a bit indirect & confusing, which should throw some warning flags up to potential buyers. I think in this situation, responsibility fall mostly on the buyer to find out more or ask the seller to clarify. People should know there's no free ride in numismatics and bid accordingly.
Coin is guarenteed to be genuine, nothing more. Also has a ten day return policy. I would expect that the coin pictured will probably get body bagged. The return policy does say from the posted shipping date, so if the coin takes ten days to get to you I guess you are stuck with it. I would ask for clarification on that one point.
