Anybody else get the Bowers December catalog today?

On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd say the pictures are not very good.

I'm not a professional photographer mind you, but I think they need to have someone shine a flashlight on the coins while the other guy is shooting them.

Some of the coins may be nice, but I can't tell.

I highly recommend an in person inspection of ANY auction coin - be it by yourself or your trusted representative.

I usually give the "new" B&M catalogs away. In fact, first person to PM me (and inidcate so in this thread), can have mine.

That was the first thing I thought as well when I looked at the atalog - how bad the photography was - You'd think with all the epense they go to they would work harder on that

I absolutely loved the new catelog! Dark pictures of some coins (maybe original!) I will get to see before the live auction. Let the eBay guys have all the shiney dipped stuff. I like 'em all dark, tarnished and dirty.
