Ever loose track of your coin inventory?

I am going to have to dig up all my coins and start a new inventory. I am having to check my registry sets to see what I own. I keep putting 'spares' up for sale to find it's my last dcam or it was a pedigree coin that I thought I was going to keep.
How many coins does it usually take before you loose track?

Gotta do the back-ups!
Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.
Also, I just bought a non-upgrade DCam early 50's Jeff.

You need to keep records, but use that as a back-up system to the physical inventory system. When you hold your container marked "for sale" you can then refer to your records and see what you paid and that should help you figure out a fair sales price.
This system may not be perfect, but it works.

Oh my God!! I felt a little nauseous reading that- that's certainly not a coin you want to lose. I hope it turns up!!

My system is remarkably similar to lava's - I use Excel to keep it in the computer.
