Possible that it has so much wear that it wore smooth on the reverse, and somehow the obverse was more protected? Odd indeed.

Looking at the bidding history, it appears a bidding war erupted between two inexperienced eBay users. I suspect regret may already be setting in.

19 bids and only four different bidders (and three different bidders in the last 18 bids). Sellers love eBayers like this who haven't learned to snipe yet. [edited to add: Assuming they pay.]
