Would You Like A Forum Coin Help Menu?

I am new to this forum and have asked for alot of general, and specific, help about coins. I've noticed the majority of new folks ask the same questions that I did when I first started posting here. I want to help continue to make this "The Place" to go for all coin information. I would be willing to take on the challenge of starting a Help Menu/Post that would provide links or answers to the majority of the repeat questions we see posted here. Some topics that come to mind are: cameras, coin cleaning, bad ebay sellers, etc. This would be a continuous work in progress and I would graciously accept board members thoughts on what needs to be linked here. I just want to be a helpful member here. Let me know what you think. Thanks, Lee

I think a newbie guide is a great idea. In fact I've done a little work in that direction myself, I just haven't put in all the time needed to complete it. Here is a start:

First and foremost---try the search feature, it works pretty good and will answer a lot of your questions.

I find that the speciality collectors/dealers and the knowledge that they openly share on this board are perhaps it's greatest resource. A list of people who would like to be listed under a certain speciality so that someone seeking out specific advice could contact them would be very helpful for new users.

Even though only three reply's I felt it was still a good idea. I sent Carolj, "The Good Girl", a PM asking her if a Coin Related "Help" Menu could be added to the Help Icon above or add it to the Main Menu. Her reply was, "We'll consider it for next year. Thank You for the idea."
I let her know that I would be willing to help in any way I can. Lee
