Last post that I could find was August 31.

He's got tremendous knowledge and I wish he'd post more!

New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

  • My best friend lives in Philadelphia. He introduced me to an acquaintance of his with a last name of Rittenhouse. This was not the same guy who used to post here. Small world isn't it?

    Carl,
Considering Rittenhouse lived in Phila 200+ years ago, it's not surprising the name's still around. As a matter of fact, there's an area in downtown Phila called Rittenhouse Square with some pricey condos/apartments.

I last spoke with Rittenhouse (aka Craig S.) several months ago at a show in Baltimore. He is currently more active in the antiques field than he is with numismatics, though a fantastic series of articles featuring his research was published in the JRCS Journal this year. I'm not sure if he lurks here or not to be honest, though I know work and the interest in antiques that he shares with his wife keep him busy.
