He's got tremendous knowledge and I wish he'd post more!
New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.
My best friend lives in Philadelphia. He introduced me to an acquaintance of his with a last name of Rittenhouse. This was not the same guy who used to post here. Small world isn't it?
Carl, Considering Rittenhouse lived in Phila 200+ years ago, it's not surprising the name's still around. As a matter of fact, there's an area in downtown Phila called Rittenhouse Square with some pricey condos/apartments.
I last spoke with Rittenhouse (aka Craig S.) several months ago at a show in Baltimore. He is currently more active in the antiques field than he is with numismatics, though a fantastic series of articles featuring his research was published in the JRCS Journal this year. I'm not sure if he lurks here or not to be honest, though I know work and the interest in antiques that he shares with his wife keep him busy.
