Cleaning question

I've never cleaned, dipped, polished or doctored a coin, but I have in my collection an Isabella quarter that is the victim of a previous dip. The devices are otherwise near gem, and there are very few hairlines. What the dip killed is the luster. And what I don't like is the way the coin has retoned. I'm inclined to leave it alone. But since the coin has already been devalued by the dip, I'd like to know if there's a safe way to improve the eye appeal without further damaging or devaluing her. Any advice?

sulfuric envelope and sunshine may help too
OK, I won't ask my other question.
Thank you for the advice.

I'm curious, but on the other hand...not really that curious.

I have the same dislike for the unattractive toning that often happens after a dip. But you can always try your luck with an album or a paper envelope and a lot of time.....
