Just closed the deal on this silver set last night and they, as they are in slabs, will be a real imaging challenge. Very deep cam examples is my understanding.

I really like the 2 and 10 mark pieces
Those will be great to see when you take good images of them.

Only SIX...that is too damn cool. I guess boiler78 knew what he was talking about when he said..."just buy it already, those are tough to find in silver."
It was kinda fun to hammer out a deal on them with neither the guy I was buying them from nor myself having any clue what they worth, and having no price guides or even reference guides to refer to. I'll gladly admit that in the end it came down to that they were just so purdy I had to own them.
Bill,
There's five more of them out there...I'll just find you a set too. A Lincoln variety of this rarity and I would have had my finger on at least the location of three of the six already; so I guess I'll just have to dig into German coinage with a bit more vigor. Of course the price might be going up...heck I just sold a certain coin for $2,000; thought I had another one on the hook and it went away so have a second customer out of luck temporarily...when the first guy called me to tell me he got the coin in the mail I offered him $3,500 to have it back and all I got was..."You were right; I wasn't paying enough. This is an absolute MONSTER...the new cornerstone of my collection!"...followed by a chuckle.
Maybe I can send you the other two sets to see in person when I get them back in their cute little plastic coffins...those are purdy too, in fact I thought the Bayern copper set was awful purdy. I know I've looked at as many of these as I could since I bought them and I think I done good on all three sets.
...and I'm dead serious about the silver set...if I can find one I can find another, and when I do you'll be the first to know.
