That's because ONE of the real 1804 dollars actualy went INTO Thailand. One went into Muscat, two others went on an ocean voyage and came home. The Thailand and Muscat coins are the only ones that actually went into another country before the 1804's became known to collectors. (Only possible exception is that there are some contemporary reports that one of the class II coins may have been shipped to England.) Both the Thailand and Muscat coins have since come home.
