A top pop out of nowhere for Frankie Fiends

Every once in a while you get a coin that looks nice and you stick it in an order to make 5 right? Well - I stuck this Frankie in an economy order to finish it out - and lo and behold - a TOP POP with 16 graded at this grade, and none higher. The fact that only 16 have been graded at this level stands to reason since in the 1960's Franklins began being made by the boatload, and you had very poor handling qualities at both mints. But this was a nice surprise

There are 25 FBL's in MS66 and 16 non FBL's. This stands to reason somewhat because the dies were re-worked in 1960. The low population in a relatively high mintage year bears witness that the coins were very poorly handled at the mint.

It's got that textile - type reverse too, that seems to only affect the 60-P's for some reason. And many of the textile-toners are nice too boot!
