will psa grade APBA cards?

Hello,
I was thinking about sending in some APBA playing cards. But then I wondered if they even graded them looked in the pop report and didn't see any. Anyone have the answer? Also, The set I have has a 1986 copyright but the box is labled 1985. The clemens is an update (XP) so is this set 1985 or 1986?
Thanks

If Clemens is an XP, the year "season" year is 1985. However, the cards would have been made in 1986 because, as you probably know, the game cards are a year behind needing a full year of stats to generate cards. Clemens' card will also be square with perforated sides. I hope this helps.
  • mefer,
thanks for the insight, yes the clemens is square w/ perforated sides. so they are 85's. Great, now I need to find out if psa will grade them.
    thanks again
  • I was wondering the same thing Twins...I bought a few early 80's ones the other day. Who at PSA handles these questions?
  • Call Customer service they then call the "speck Room".
