There ARE snipers on Heritage

I bid on a coin with about 1 minute to go in their Internet auction last night and was watching it till the very end. Someone sniped me with 9 secs to go. Probably could have entered another bid, but the price was higher than I wanted to go. First time that's happened to me on Heritage.

  • Last auction I was sniped with 6 minutes left and literally was able to rebid and confirm with TWO, yes TWO, second remaining!! But this week I was sniped on literally 16 coins inexpensive coins in the last half hour, and got a rebid in on just one. It seems you can sometimes protect you bid on one coin, but guessing how fast the Heritage server is at any given time is next to impossible.

Are you surprised? I thought snipers are everywhere.

A bit surprised. It's real ballsy to snipe Heritage in the last few seconds because their servers are so unpredictable.
  • Unpredictable? NOOOOO!!! How did I get sniped last night on 15 out of 16 Washington Quarters in the last 15 minutes? They must have turbocharged the servers last night. Snipers SUCK (unless I win)image
