It ain't a Peace $ but there's just something about toned Ikes that catch my eye as well. Original Dansco toning isn't impossible to find on these coins, but it aint easy putting together a whole set of them. So far I have several, MS and proofs and I'm trying to do a complete toned set.
77-D toned Ike
Post your toned Ikes -- if you got'em!
By the way -- I think the imaging software used by this seller is pretty cool as well!

<< <i>Larry -- any chance you might want to part with that 72-D? That's a great looking Ike!

Thanks. It's actually better than it looks.
I'm in it too deep to ever sell it.
I had to give $1 for it back in 1990.
I know I paid too much but I just had to have it.

That's one of the great weaknesses of moderns: It's so hard to get them anywhere close to melt value.
<< <i>The toning is not caused by Dansco holders but rather the original mint issue slabs they came in >>
Are you sure? I've actually removed several similarily toned coins from Dansco Albums -- not just Ikes, but JFKs as well.
