I will be sending a good sized order to PSA this month. I was thinking about sending some cards along that I think are reprints. What is the charge if PSA finds them to be reprints? I assume that all nonholdered cards get the same charge.

Your grading fee covers the cost of determining the card is a reprint, whereupon the card is returned to you with the flip in a card saver.

Why send counterfeits to begin with? You would know a reprint, because it would be identified as such, a counterfeit would be if you can't tell if it's real or not. Just check them yourself prior to sending them... it's simple to tell if a card is a counterfeit 99% of the time... just look at the text and solid areas under a loupe. For a huge majority of cards, if they are printed all in tiny dots (half-tone), you have a fake. If the text and solid ink areas are actually printed in solid ink, it's more than likely authentic.

It's nearly impossible for a counterfeit to mimic the solid ink areas of an authentic because of the cost involved in that type of set up. Most counterfeits have been printed with a computer printer of some sort and the areas that appear solid, that are regularly solid on the authentic card, are printed in half-tone all over, front and back, sometimes even the borders have "wear" printed right onto the card.
