what would you rather have? A 1967 in 68cam or a 1967 in 66dcam?

    When I put together my Proof Jeff set I went for the DCAM in the lower grade. I was trying for a set that was completely DCAM. I could see going for a set 68 cam, but I choose DCAM.

    Wouldn't you want a coin with a better overall technical grade then a coin with more marks and more frost?

    Check the population reports. The DCAM is definitely the way to go.

    There are more of the 68cams (32) than there are DCAMS in total (13). Which is rarer?

    Depends on what it looked like. I have seen some nice ms66s and some dog 68s. If all were average for the grade, middle of the road for grade and cam/dcam level...then I say the 66dcam...a true middle of the road 66dcam with deep mirrors would blow away a 68. Most of the sms roosies are nice quality, with just a small coin all it would take to knock a 68 to a high end 66 is a pit, etc.

    Some here say "Which is rarer" " which has a lower pop", and thats fine, but I don't see the point.

    Right now in my Proof Roosie set I have a 1966 SMS MS69 pop = 3 and it is flawless. I would not trade it in for a cam or dcam because of they way it looks. It does has some frost, and I'm happy with it.

    both - then you could cover the labels and see if you could tell any difference
