Ive never been to a show before. If PCGS has a booth there what can you expect from them? Do the grade the coin there for you? do they offer opinons on coins? Do you just drop them off there for them to bring back to the office and grade?

If PCGS can't help you with a free opinion, trot over to ANACS's booth if they're around. ANACS is approachable and helpful.

It is my understanding that the current PCGS show grading fees are as follows:
$80 per coin for invoices of 5 coins or more, each with insured values not to exceed $1500. While called "show grading", this and the $100 service below can take from between a few hours to as long as a few days, depending upon how busy PCGS is.
$100 per coin for coins insured in excess of $1500 each.
$200 per coin for "2 hour turnaround time" regardless of insured value.

In addition to the Hall opinions and show grading mentioned above, PCGS does collect submissions to take back to the office for grading. This saves you outbound shipping.
