1985 Topps McGwire, need advise

Hi everybody, I am new to this board and PSA. I have collected on and off since the late 70's. I just now started
to get my cards graded. My collection is not noteworthy really, I have some very good cards. I have decided to focus mainly on
un-opened / un-searched cards.

I am curious to find out what other collecters would do with ONE 1985 Topps Rack Pack with Mcgwire showing on the bottom and
ONE Cello pack with him on top. Both cards have minor centering issues. Would it be wiser to keep the packs closed or crack them
open to get these two graded and hope against hope a Clemens pops up?

Thanks !

Leave them sealed and buy other packs looking for a Clemens or buy an Clemens outright. Best bet is to leave the packs sealed and maybe get them graded.

    Sealed packs themselves get graded?

Global Authentication (GAI) grades unopened wax, cello, and rack packs, and also boxes.

Agreed. A pack with a star showing is usually much more collectable than the card itself.
