I apologize if this is already been posted, but I just came across this article about a man depositing $14,000 dollars worth of pennies in a coin star or similar machine.................

And I thought I had a stash of about $100 worth. I noticed a coin machine at my bank the other day and asked about it. They told me any account holder can bring in loose change including cents and run them through the machine to cash out, with no service charge. I plan on hauling my hoard down there tomorrow.

Wow that's a good deal....I have stayed away from coin stars just because I don't want to pay the 10% premium. I know banks will take your chance, but they give you such a hard time and make you roll it and write your name and Account number on them and yadda....yadda....yadda...
