I'll never figure Teletrade out......

(Yes, this is the guy who said yesterday, "I may never use Teletrade again....." image )

Today's auction contained a matched pair of coins I was interested in. Same date, same grade, same certification service. My favorite time to bid is when competition is spread between two coins!

I bid on what I thought was the better of the two, and the other one seemingly was bid to the exact same price.

I won mine, the other has now disappeared as unsold.

Go figure.

    << <i>which coin was it? >>

I was afraid someone was going to ask that. Now I have to reveal that I may have gone one bid too far. image

    My win

    Unsold

You'll have to take my word for it that the unsold coin was listed at the same $$ at the time the auction closed.

    Also of interest:

    One grade lower, $25 less

    Poor Helen Keller....
It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

TommyType the unsold coin apparently had a sellers buyback bid on it.
Change that we can believe in is that change which is 90% silver.
  • For those of you who are not aware, if you return a coin to Teletrade you WILL incur a “restock” fee along with other fees they see fit no matter how many coins you’ve bought from them in the past. I personally lost over $ 50.00 returning a $ 850 coin after I didn’t agree with the coin’s description. Frankly, it wasn’t even close to the description. Good luck with your purchase..........

PM if you read TT's return policy they clearly tell you that if you want to return a coin you need to bend over and spread em.
