  • Hi,

    Mainly older stuff.

British Cigarette cards - mainly Military, Historical & Celebrity issues. All pre 1939
British Gum Cards - A&BC, Somportex, Anglo. All pre 1980.
    Also collect Topps Baseball 1957-79.

Too many sets to list them all.

Lot of British Cigarette cards to trade.

Most sets mid 50's to mid 60's:
    Scoop
    '59 Stooges
    Zorro
    Robin Hood
    Hit Stars
    Mars Attacks
Most of the others are complete. I'm starting to get into some earlier issues - HOW, G-Men, American Beauties and early tobacco sets that appeal to me (Hassan Cowboys, Indian Life [complete], Explorers [complete], Heroes/Men of History).

If anybody collects '59/'60 Topps Funny Valentines, I need a few and have a bunch to trade - post or PM.

    Thanks.

I have complete sets of 1944 Gum American Beauties, 1933-34 Nat Chicle Sky Birds, 1951 Bowman Jets, Rockets, Spacemen and 1958 Topps TV Westerns. Currently working on an N222 Kinney Bro's Leaders set.

I also collect Star Trek and Star Wars cards, along with various other sets that I might become interested in. I'm contemplating starting a T68 Men of History set, along with a 1962 Mars Attacks set.

Santa is going to bring me a digital camera this year so I will after I take some naked pics of Mrs Clause.
  • Aside from a Beatles set, my main non-sports collection revolves around Movie Star and Film Tobacco Cards (with the occasional historical figure set) primarily from the 1930's and primarily from England.

I have been collecting original artwork and camera ready paste-up art of Bazooka wrappers for a year now. I overbid on this one since I had personally obtained this pocket knife when I was a kid. That summer, I chewed a zillion penny packs, sent for the knife and waited for the mailman for about 2-3 wks. When it finally arrived, it was everything I had imagined. By the end of the summer, I had lost the knife playing with my friends in Flushing Meadows (US Open, World's Fair fame). image

    image

Then a few months ago, I found the knife on ebay! Reminds me of the new ebay commercial on TV! image

I almost picked up the wrapper but it was too much money - patience will be rewarded...I think?

    Original set (1999) Pokemon cards!

My daughter got the bug in middle school, we started doing it together, and her mom let us both get away with it.

Ahh... it feels better to finally say that out loud!
    When in doubt, don't.
  • I collect:

    Hogan's Heroes
    Gilligan's Island
    The Munsters
    Lost in Space
    Mars Attacks
    Civil War News
    Wacky Packages

along with a few others, as well as packs and display boxes.

I am working on SGC (sorry) graded 1985 & 1987 Topps WWF sets.
    Collect Ozzie Guillen Cards
    Unique Chicago Cards
    Wrestling Cards
  • Currently, in the non-sports world, these are my current projects (varying from aggressively buying to occassionally searching eBay):

    T53 Cowboy Series
T68 Heroes of History/Men of History
    T69 Historic Homes
    T70 Historical Events
T73 Indian Life in the "60's"
    T77 Lighthouse Series
    T95 Presidents
    T98 Rulers of the World
T99 Sights and Scenes of the World
T108 Theatres Old and New Series

I'm also playing around a little with N222 and N99, but I'm trying to learn a bit more about N* cards before diving in too deep image.

  • FYI,

The N222 Kinney Leader cards come in 2 sizes if memory serves me right. A "skinny" version and a regular tobacco card size version.

    Keith,

You are absolutely correct about the two different sizes for N222's. I'm not sure of the reasoning behind the difference though.

Inkworks just sent me the last autograph I needed to complete my Buffy WOS set.
I've got random cards from Hot Wheels to Star Trek, but this is the first I ever finished. Even have the sales flyer and the card from some SanDiego show.
