I'm new here, so forgive me if this has been answered before:

I am collecting the Topps All-stars from 1975-1981 at PSA 8 or higher. I cannot find who are the all-stars for the following...

1978 Topps American League All Stars: Jackson, Yaz, and Who??

1981 Topps American League All Stars: Jackson, Lynn, and Who??

1975 Topps American League All Stars: Burroughs, Murcer, and Who??

    I'm assuming you mean players with an All Star logo on their '78 Topps cards. So ...

    1978 Topps American League All Stars: Jackson, Yaz, George Brett, Carleton Fisk, and Rod Carew. This is all I know right now.

    Welcome. I also collect Topps All-Stars from 1975 thru 1980. This question has arisen before (if I am reading it correctly). In the years 1975 and 1978 it seems that Topps omitted naming a third AL outfielder. You will also find that the AL SS for 1979 was not named. IMHO, in 1975 the third AL Outfielder should have been Reggie, in 1978 the third AL OF should have been Jim Rice, and in 1979 the AL SS should have been Patek. I don't know how such an oversight occurred by Topps. Good Luck to you!!!!!

    P.S. I don't know anything about 1981. Sorry. I do have a complete list of all Topps All-Stars from 1975 thru 1980 if you need it.

    1981: R. Henderson, R. Jackson, K. Landreaux, F. Lynn, B. Oglivie, A. Oliver

    1975: J. Burroughs, R. Jackson, B. Murcer, F. Robinson, J. Rudi, C. Yastrzemski

    I don't know why Topps didn't put the AS logo on most of these guys. image

    I am kinda bummed though...especially now that there is another hole in the collection (AL SS). Oh well, it will be fun collecting every other position. Thanks again.
