Bicentennial Question

I was thinking of doing a birth year set.....1975. I know the Quarter, Half and Dollar of 1975 are in the 1776-1976 design but also know that they differ somehow from the same coins produced in 1976. Could someone please describe to me the difference between the 1975 and 1976 Bicentennial coins? Thanks.

Rich

Edited to add: Does this have something to do with the T1 and T2 designations?

The type I Ike was made only during the first half of 1975. Circulation issues were made at
both mints and is the only Ike to appear in the 1975 mint sets. There are numerous differences
on both the obverse and reverse with the most noticeable being the thickness of the reverse
lettering. There is also a dramatic difference in a crease on Ikes neck. There are no known mules.

The half dollars have no discernable difference between the years or in the mint sets though
there are far more Philly PL's in the '76 set. The quarter, too, doesn't vary but both mints' coins
come nicer in the '76 set than in the '75.

There are a few varieties for these with the most important being a DDO on the Denver quarter.
None of the varieties appear in mint sets but there are some in the proof sets and 3 pc sets.
    Tempus fugit.
