Thanks, but the thrill is in the hunt for old catalogs. I was sniped last night for the four volume set by $1. I already have the Bass III and do not need the Bass I (patterns and currency).

I am really excited. So excited that I am not going to buy another coin until...until...until...tomorrow, at the earliest.

My wife always laughs real hard when I mention Harry Bass. We were in Colorado Springs and she dropped me off at the ANA museum while she went shopping, told her I wanted to see the Harry Bass collection, she busted up.

It is great to see a post about the satisfaction in obtaining a nice refernce book. I picked up a hard back copy of a Stack's Auction catalog from 1988 not too long ago... I am trying hard to remember the collection... may have been part of the Charles Kramer Collection of US Gold
