Anyone here interested in any particular coins in the foreign gold coin sale of the Eliasberg collec

I mainly collect US coins, but my wife is from Istanbul, Turkey, therefore I collect gold coins from the Ottoman Empire, nothing serious, more like a grouping. I wonder what old man Eliasberg has?

Anyone know what his most valuable foreign gold coin is?

Anyone here interested in any particular coins in the foreign gold coin sale of the Eliasberg collection next year?

I do not know anything about foreign gold coins, but that sale might represent the only opportunity for me to acquire an Eliasberg gold coin.

OT: I have been to Istanbul...very cool place. I would love to visit Turkey again (Kusedasi, Epheses, Bodrum, etc.).

    RYK and Seth:

I've been to Turkey a bunch of times over the past few years. It is by far my favorite place to visit. To keep this on a numismatic topic-- I felt like a millionaire, passing around all of those notes with a bunch of zeros on them!

PS. Next time you go, go eat at Kosebasi in Istanbul. But don't tell your friends about it. Don't want all of the tourists going there and ruining it.
