eBay Question - How Long Must I Wait for Contact?

Someone I dreaded winning won my auction. How long must I wait before I contact eBay about his noncontact and nonpayment?

you may want to "block" this particular bidder from future auctions as well.

    Thanks,

If the guy has good feedback, I would be pateint. Are we talking about allot of money ? I'm going to assume that you won't lose your house if he doesn't pay quickly. By the way, did you state payment terms in the auction description ? If so, you may want to drop him a email and remind him of the terms.

How long has it been? Why do you dread the buyer? ETC.........

The situation is this - someone who won one of my auctions around four years ago and gave me all kinds of grief before he finally paid is the person who won my latest auction. His eBay I.D. is different from years ago but I know that it's him. (I know because the last name of the latest auction "winner" and his location are the same as the guy from four years ago.) His former account was suspended due to his many negatives (I followed his feedback "trail") but he reappeared (more than once) with new I.D.s. Anyway, he won my auction just yesterday. Basically, I'm just planning ahead in case he doesn't contact me (I'm sure that he won't). How long do I have to wait before I contact eBay? Is there a standard number of days? (BTW, the item went for a little over $100.)

You can file a non-paying bidder notice with eBay 7 days after the auction ends. Here's the link. eBay will nudge him and if he still doesn't pay or respond by their deadline (another 7 days), you can apply to get your fees refunded and then relist your item.
