I'm not going to poke fun at Tampa Bay,

but how could John Gruden be proclaimed as one

of the brilliant young coaches when he took his team

to the Super Bowl ? Was that a little premature ?

Or is he still a great coach with lousy players ?

The vikes will be laying down to the pack today just like bucs rolled over.

The biggest disappointment today was the defense...completely laying down on those 2 long drives in the first half.

This game was huge, if they won, they'd be back in the hunt. But the Falcons established a big lead and held on exactly as I predicted. This game paralleled the season for the Bucs - starting off bad, coming back strong, then falling away.

At this point will be awfully hard for anyone to win the NFC South except for the Falcons. Granted division is weak, but the birds have to be a very scary game for any of the upper echelon teams in the NFC come playoff time.

No one from the NFC scares me. The dominant teams are all in the AFC.

AFC definitely has the better teams, but chew on this for a while. The Falcons are 7-2 with Michael Vick having for him a so - so season. Defense has been greatly improved, six or seven sacks today. If everything is clicking for the Falcons on any given Sunday they can beat anyone this year.
