I feel sort of dumb asking this but i am not sure. If you have modern silver (bullion) and you are selling it for the face value of the silver does the condition matter?

I presume you meant "bullion value" and not "face value".

If not, I am prepared to purchase as many Silver Eagles as you got for face value ($1) each .

I am not sure, but if you are selling it as bullion I would think that the only thing that would matter would be silver content and weight of the silver.-Dan

Condition always matters because it makes it more attractive for buyers (unless they are planning on melting it). If the bullion has SOME eye appeal you should charge at least a little premium over bullion value.
