Alexander the Great, AR Tetradrachm, 336-323 BC, VF, $200
This coin was issued during the lifetime of Alexander unlike most "Alexander" Tetradrachms which were issued after his death. One study shows that only 18% of these issues were issued during Alexander's life. You can tell the difference in several ways, on the vast majority of lifetime issues Zeus has his legs crossed, on this coin his legs are not crossed. This coin weighs 17g, most Tetradrachms issued after his death are lighter. Coins issued during Alexander's life tend to be struck on smaller thicker flans than those issued after his death, this coin is 25mm in diameter on a thick flan with very high relief.

United States, Trade Dollar, 1874-CC (?), many interesting chop-marks, Make an offer.
This is a US Trade Dollar that obviously say heavy circulation in the Orient owing to the large number of chop-marks on both the obverse and reverse of the coin. It is dated 1874 and I believe I see a trace of the CC mintmark on the reverse, but can't be 100% sure of that as there is some flatness in the area where the mintmark is located.
