What kind of crap is this?

Did somebody here piss THIS GUY off or what? image

This has probably already been posted. I must have missed it. I see no AT experts have taken him up on his offer...

What makes you think those coins are AT? image

  • There was another thread about it. The title is something like this "this guy is giving a challange to this forum". I couldn't find it. you may want to search for it.

he should challenge himself for $100 and send some stuff in rather than risk losing $7K +

"we have to warn you our coins are graded by a person whose eye sight is failing."

That is a disclaimer. It's a waste of time to accept and try to win the "challenge" even for the most knowledgeable and expert in detecting AT.

Mr AT is making a challenge that is pretty absurd. Why would any of us risk our $$ to a 95% Feedback ebayer with 85 total FB's? He expects us to send our money to him while we try to prove his coins are AT? And then he is going to give us 150% of our money back should we "prove" that any single coin is AT. Get real Mr. AT.

I would suggest that Mr. AT send his 30 or so coins to a numismatic "champion" such as David Hall, Robert Campbell, Dave Bowers, or someone else well placed in the hobby to do a 3rd party submission for him. Let them pick the "worst" looking 5 coins to send in. If not one of those coins (the walker in the middle photo is just "mental") comes back bagged for AT, then I for one would be happy to pay Mr. AT every single grading fee incurred plus postage.
Mr. AT would therefore be vindicated and reap bountiful praise for his integrity and high quality coins. The numismatic world would come flocking to his auctions to do business. He could retire wealthy. Now, if Mr. AT should fail to accept this challenge it is obvious that he has "no ba11s" and his written words are meaningless. Come hither Mr. AT...a $100 challenge awaits you.

I hope he prints this in one of his next auctions. Go ahead and read the comments he posted under the coin's description....truly comical. I would gather they are comments from other forum members. One would imagine than bunsen burner and propane sales are very high in the Signal Hill area.

He looks to be 52 cards short of a full deck. The only remaining ones are JOKERS. image
