Can anyone recomend a good coin shop in the Studio City area of CA?

I will be there tomorrow as my daughter has a 4 hr photo shoot. As I'll have some time to kill I like to do some looking around. The shop would need to be open in the afternoon.

I'm not aware of any out there. Superior is just over the hill, in BH. B&M and Spectrum are in Irvine.

There is one there - it's right on Ventura Blvd. I can't recall the name, but if you call 411 and say 'Studio Ciy / Burbank - a coin shop on Ventura Blvd.' they should be able to pin point it for you. Otherwise, I can tell you that it is within a half mile either way of Laurel Canyon Blvd., in a funky shaped free standing building, on the north side of the street. I was there once, but I cannot recall if they had anything good or not. They should be open on Saturday afternoon.

There are several you can visit within a short drive.

Studio City Coin (?) in Studio City on Ventura Blvd. in the heart of the shopping district.

Coin & Stamp World -- Devonshire Blvd. Granada Hills
Mid-Valley Coin -- Devonshire Blvd. Granada Hills -- almost right across the street from each other

GoldCoast Coin Exchange -- Desoto & Ventura Blvd. Woodland Hills CA
and there's another one on Ventura Blvd in Tarzana, but I can remember the name right now.
