The stock value of CLCT the parent company of PSA has really been doing well lately

A while ago there was some talk of maybe a buyout of PSA, does that seem unlikely now that the prices have gone so high.

    I'll have to look at this stock a little closer. Might still be a good buy.
    I bought eBay at 58, last time I checked it was 109. Nice !!

    my guess is that the coin market is what is making the stock higher. Coins summisions are way more expensive than cards and they also do more volume. Judging by auctions prices and ebay, you can quickly see how well the coin hobby is doing.

    Cards are probably still pretty lucrative since there is less serious competitors in the market and the registry is such a big hit.

    On a side note i have notice how the US mint has drawn in so many coin collectors with series like the state quarters and the new designs in the nickles. it just seems like there are many new collectors entering everyday...not all stay and not all go vintage..but some of the influx must spread all over.

    It sure would be nice is the card companies did a better job at bringing new blood in to our hobby.
