I use to own the 46 NGC MS69*. I got all wrapped up in FB & FT and sold it. I never thought I
would see it for sale again. Colorfulcoins once owned the coin too before I did. The coin was slabbed by
David Schweitz and still stands today as the highest ever graded silver Roosevelt dime and IMHO
well deserving of the grade. I believe the 46 was only submitted once. Correct me if I'm
wrong Dave...Superior already shows the current bid on the coin over $4K.

    Nick,
Greattoning's favorite saying is "Even a blind pig can find an acorn."......that was one of your acorns!!!!!!imageimageimage

  • You are correct, Nick. After purchasing the coin, it graded 69* at NGC the first time I sent it through. Considering I had this "acorn" before Nick did, I must be the "blind pig" rainbowroosie is referring to. image All I can say is that the way PCGS has been grading my coins lately, either I am a blind pig or the graders there have lost their ability to grade.image

    Dave,
PCGS has done me no favors on my last two submissions....I'm also "blind."image

  • I agree about PCGS right now. I submitted thirty+ coins and not a single 67 image

Oh well, I must have the same sight problems as the rest of you all.

    Butch

p.s. I am excited to see where the 69* ends up, any wagers????

  • I agree on the PCGS grading right now. I get 66'd on everything, quite litterally.
