PSA gift certificates

I thought about purchasing some PSA gift certificates for some friends and relatives who collect sportscards, but then realized that they may be valueless to all of them unless they are currently members of PSA.

For example, if I bought a $75 gift certificate for my brother and he wanted to grade some of his sportscards, he would not be able to do so. Doesn't this make the gift certificates essentially meaningless to almost everyone?

Koby............... I've thought about asking my family to purchase me some E-Bay gift certificates so I could use them for bidding on Psa cards on E-Bay ! You might want to consider that for a gift idea ?................Robbie

    Jim and Robby,

Thanks for the information. I didn't know it was possible to submit to PSA without paying for the membership.

Somebody remind me again why I drop 100 bones a year again? Pop report and SMR are useful, but the magazine is essentially 4 pages of useful stories, Joe's editorial, an autograph section regarding some long dead uniform manufactirer that nobody gives 2 sh!ts about, and some Mastro ads. Can people really submit without being members? Whats the cost of the ebay kit?
  • The kit does not cost anything. You just pay for each card graded, I paid $8.00 each for 8 1972T BB. I do not know if you get a better rate for being a member but they gave me options from bulk submission prices to vintage $1000+ prices. Go to Ebay Selling/third party services/grading/PSA. Or use the links below to receive your submission kit and get info. You can also receive more submission forms so I do not believe this is a one time submission deal. They do try to sell you a collector club membership for $99 but that is just one option.
