My frankie looks like this. What do we have, a collar issue???

Compare the diameter against a normal one. My first guess is that the edge was machined off. After all, I can't imagine there would be any smooth collars for half dollars around for them to use accidentally.

yes, diameter is smaller. what is not seen in the graphic is that the edge has 'ridges'. the center is smooth, with ridges at the extreme edge, both obv/rev. sort of like a valley or creek bed.
