Turn around time on the $5 specials?

as informative as "varies with demand" is does anyone have any idea of how long its taking psa these days to return these submissions?

it's only 7 business days into the special so I don't think there is any way to gauge it at this point. regular modern bulk submissions were taking 30-45 business days before the special.

If it's like it was the last time they ran the 5 buck special, we're going to have to be patient. They got blasted with submissions.

Sent my order (125 cards) on 11/1, logged into PSA's system on 11/3, and grades were posted 11/9.

4th business day. Not bad.

The good news is my submission was graded within 5 days. The bad news is they were apparently graded by the dreaded random number generator. Had a few cards that were cracked opened PSAs that were resubmitted that came back with 'evidence of trimming' and some with grades that simply made no sense. Go figure.

the joys of submitting cards. 2 orders can be received on the same day , 1 order graded in 5 days and the other order graded in 2 months

I submitted a modern bulk order on 8/25 and grades were posted on the 44th business day I was happy w/ the grades for the most part - but it took forever.

I had a vintage bulk order get graded well under the 45 days, only to have it sit with CDn customs for another two weeks and counting.

My grades were available in 3 business days from when the received my cards!!!

I mailed in a submission and miscalculated the total. Got a phone call the other day from PSA and charged the extra $20 to my CC. I asked about turnaround times and they said there "on schedule". I guess thats somewhat positive. Don't think my order is logged in but i have yet to check.

Thanks for the info, i sent my order in right away and they received it 11/5. I forgot to write Nov. Special on the front so they probably will take 70 days to grade my order, but i can always dream of quick turnaround times right. Anyway thanks again for the info.

Well, for $5 a pop, I'll just sit back and be patient...no hurry for me.

Maybe the G.O.D. will be on vacation for the next month

Hi all
My grades just got emailed to me today!
Get this,I sent them to PSA on 11/1 Received at PSA on 11/5 and they were sent back to me on 11/10-WOW!!!!!!
I did pretty good this time, I sent in 50 cards and received 21/ 10's almost 50%!!!

This is a huge upgrade to my 2001 Sweet Spot set (I know its a modern set, but with a great rookie class of ichiro,Pujols,Texeria and Prior).These RC's are numbered to 1000 and the update RC's #d to 1500. Dont forget these Sweet Spot Baseball boxes are running in the $300-400 range with only one SP rookie card per box!
So far I will update my set with 99/150 cards graded 10 and 7 graded @ Mint 9.
Just wanted to share my Sweet Set!! I actually have almost 4 complete sets with all the Sp's graded.
If anyone is interested in one let me know(Buy or trade?- I would like to start a older set! Does someone want to start a modern set?

i have an order that was received on 10/28 at 8 bucks a pop...seems like i would have did better with the 5.00 special. maybe they're waiting for the "grader of death" to go on vacation before they send my cards to the grading room.
