Book: "So-Called Dollars" by Richard D. Kenney

I have an as new copy of Richard D. Kenney's "So-Called Dollars: Exposition and Commemoritive Medals, Bryan and Lesher Dollars, Miscellaneous Monetary, and Other Issues." The book is the 1982 paperback edition, 20 pages in length, and has seven black and white photo plates. Asking $15 shipped via first class mail in the CONUS. Paypal or money orders accepted.     thanks for the heads-up but i already have a copy. it's a good reference with nicely done pictures of some important medals coupled with a compact size. there's a guy out in Colorado, Hallenbeck Coins, who's working on an update of the Hibler/Kappen reference. as with all Numismatic works it's a slow, tentative project that's been whispered and rumored for several years. i got a chance to speak with him at the ANA so i think it's a reality in a few years.

    speaking of So-Called Dollars, i just got my "Whipple Dollar" in the mail yesterday. it has what appears to be die polish on the obverse and i think it should be conserved by NCS to remove some spotting and a bit of gunk around the eagles head. it should grade AU55-MS63.
