Another pedigree question?

Why does it cost $20 to have a MS70 coin pedigreed but only $5 to have anything less pedigreed?
I am referring to the submission of coins after the initial free pedigree service?
Sounds like descrimination against the perfect coins!

    The way it was explained to me, it is the increased liability involved in cracking out the "Perfect" coin and remounting it. image

    That is my understanding -- although I would expect all coins to be treated as if they are priceless.
    I brake for ear bars.
