Cards do not meet minimum measurement requirements????

All of his cards have the disclaimer "These are all cards that I have recently bought on ebay that did not meet measurement requirements, Unfortunately when I bought them the seller did not tell me, however I am telling you." Does anybody know what he's talking about? Is he saying that all of these recent purchases have been trimmed?

    Well I would say yes trimmed, but I have had cards come back evid trim and min size requirement. The later must be referring to a sheet cut card. The ripken however does look to have a trim along the lower edge.

    From PSA's perspective, they use the term "minimum size requirement" to indicate a card that has a factory cut - but the card is slightly shorter than factory standard. It sounds like this guy is selling trimmed cards.
    I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.

    But there are dozens of cards here. If you search his history, he has had very little ebay activity lately.

    Also, why would all of these recent cards need trimming? Good examples of recent cards are abundant and the potential financial upside for trimming these is slim.

    What happen to me was I paid some "decent" money for GEM graded material. Thought I would send it to PSA with ANY as the minimum grade crossover requirement. The cracked the cards from the hard plastic, and returned them to me as evidence of trimming. So, the same may have happened to this guy.

    I would stay clear of this auction and put your ducats into a legit PSA-graded Ripken rookie. I think the card has come down quite a bit and is relatively affordable in PSA 8. Just my $0.02.
