On the Bay, looking, this looks a little funny.

Look at all of this! Can one really trust to bid on this?

    Ebay Business Plan:

    1. Create secondary account for when I get NARU'd.
    2. Purchase lot of 3,000 mixed crap coins for $625.
    3. Invent a story concerning finding a lost horde of magnificent coins in the basement of an old Widow's house.
    4. Create an Ebay listing selling a single random coin from said lost horde in individual 2x2 envelopes (0.5 cents each, being conservative) for $3.00 a pop.
    5. Conservatively deduct approximately 10% of total profit to cover ebay and paypal expenses.
    6. Make $7,524.00 realized profit on each $625 lot purchased.
    7. Rinse, Repeat exponentially.

  • You're really not being fair to the seller. With 100 lots for sale, you could just buy them all and be assured of that S-VDB for just $62,500!

My business plan was designed for YOU, as the buyer of this lot, not the seller of this lot, he obviously has his plan covered.

He actually has a couple suckers on the hook at $625 each. Frankly, I have no sympathy for anyone who bids in these obvious scams.

  • I am just asking how does he create that many feedbacks. That would take some time.

  • Scammers love to pitch people in HUGE TYPE AND ALL CAPS APPARENTLY.
  • This one, in effect, is a lottery, comparable to sam thompson, only this seller cloaks it better by bombarding you with 2,900 wheat cents. If effect, you get 2,900 wheat cents, 100 junk silver coins (mostly dimes, no doubt), and a 31-S lincoln with a "chance" for an 09-S VDB (the unaudited lottery part). About $100 or so worth of crap for $625. image

  • Sad thing is that it looks like he is using his young son in his scam. As Daffy Duck would say.........that's dispicable.

    Yes. image

You just have to realize that it is a lottery. People throw away more money than that every day on the Florida lottery and get NOTHING in return.

As someone has already pointed out, this guy has an awful lot of positives and very few negatives for his volume. Some of the negs don't even address the goods. It's a chance I wouldn't want to take with my last dollar (especially at this dollar amount) but I really don't have a problem with anyone taking a chance with disposable income.

    Joe.

He has 69 negs. You can safely multiply that by five for all the people who didn't neg for fear of retaliation. He also has a few hundred neutrals.
