Hi Guys, Does anyone remember the Famous Feats and World Series cards that were printed in the early 70s? I believe that they were cards made from drawing done by an artist named Laughlin. I remembered these from looking though an old SCD magazine. I've done some research on them and discovered that there has been more than one of each of these sets printed. I want to double check with you guys to see if this is right. If anyone has any info on any of these card sets, let me know. Neil

Haven't heard about the 1986 Fleer Famous Feats set. Here's my info on these issues:
1968 Laughlin World Series (1903-67, 64 black and white cards)
1970 Fleer World Series (1903-69, 66 cards)
1971 Fleer World Series (1903-70, 68 cards)
1972 Fleer Famous Feats (40 cards, full color)
1980 Fleer Famous Feats (22 cards, yellow/white/black)
1980 Laughlin Famous Feats (40 cards, full color)
There are plenty of other Fleer/Laughlin issues in the same time period, but I assumed you just wanted information for the sets you listed.

<< <i>...would you happen to be able to identify this pack? >>
Nick,
Pack is 1979 Fleer Baseball Stickers. Sticker was basically a typical Fleer team logo sticker on the front, but the backs pictured 1/24th of a large picture from the previous years World Series (the World Series Photo Puzzle referred to on the front of the wrapper). Similar packs were issued in 1977 and 1978 featuring puzzle pieces from the '76 and '77 World Series respectively.
Here's scans of all three packs.

If memory serves (and it serves less and less these days), wasn't the '86 Fleer set actually the backside of the insert logo sticker in the wax packs? And I actually thought it was '87.

Thank you.
