Over-graded Proof Ike Dollars

Well, I think I have to vent. I have been searching through ebay and looking for some key proof Ikes and realized that most of the PR69DCAM Ikes are way over-graded. The DCAM looks ok but the majority of the coins surfaces are full of crap. They are full of spots, particles, dust, smears, ugly die problems and scratches yet they still get the designated grade of PR69DCAM. I recently bought a 1974 Clad PR69DCAM and it had a nic on the cheek (yes, it was distracting...it annoyed the hell out of me). These coins are in "newer holders" with the bar-code on the front and somehow are getting over-graded. It maybe good for the seller but I think it will hurt the series as all proof Ikes will hit rock bottom due to the over-grading from PCGS. I find myself searching for a nice clean PR69DCAM but I realize I am searching through so many that they are not accurately graded. For some reason, I see NTC, ICG, NGC and ANACS with "close to accurate" grades. Of course, I will not buy them but the grades as I am only looking for PR69DCAM but they are more accurate than PCGS.

Anyone else see the same thing?

Surprisingly, in my experience, ANACS is the toughest on Modern proofs.

Braddick, you are right about ANACS. I have rarely seen a PR69DCAM in ANACS. They are very tough and accurate.
