Hi,
I recently bought about 10 WW2 German cigarette cards and have no idea of the value (I pd about $7 each). Does anyone have a clue as to the value and whether E-Bay would even grade them? Please note that the card is of Hitler and other top Nazi officials - so don't view if it will offend you.
Regards,
Greg M.

this is an interesting site for german cards: http://www.germancards.com/
They do have the set listed, look under 'Austria Tabakwerke' in their Mfr. Index section but they have no other info.
There is also a very interesting page on the history of German cards.
Hope that helps.

Yes, PSA will grade them. I have a 1936 Hiltler card titled "Der Fuhrer" PSA 6. It is a large card (tallboy) showing Hilter with some of his commanders (I presume).

Can you post a pic of the Hitler card? I'd like to see it!

Here is a German tobacco card with Hitler. They weren't actually in cigarette packs, but there were coupons in the packs you needed to mail in.

For the historical significance. Even though I despise the genocide that Germany perpetrated during WW2, I am fascinated by the German military and in researching the many battles that were fought - especially on the Eastern Front.
Most people have no clue as to the ferocity of the fighting between Germany and Russia and the odds that German units fought against until they were finally overwhelmed by the Red hoard.

I thought that might have been the one you were talking about. They are fairly common, but still interesting. Another forum member just bought this card from me last week. PSA misspelled the name of the cigarette brand on the label, it should be Reemtsma.
got it today ! thanks !
good dealing with you.
see ya, lee
