    Thanks for the welcome. I've been "lurking in the dark" for about six months, reading all the posts and finally signed on. There is alot of knowledge here and I like the "darkside" stuff.

    My US collection is varied but very heavy in Morgan Dollars, Indian Head Pennies and 3 cent silvers. I've been collecting ship coins for several years and never counted what I have, guess I ought to do that as I start organizing my goodies. I have a few unique peices that I'll post as soon as I figure out my camera downloading features. One is made from an iron nail from the Constitution in 1812. A family member was a gunner on her, manning the "long nine" bowchaser. Not a coin per-se but a medallion he made for his daughter, one of my favorite peices because it is a family "treasure" and there are only a two or three peices that I know of from family letters and stories. It is a bit crude but you can tell he took his time making it. I think there are folks here that would truly appreciate it.
