I've had this 1824 Bust Half for a while now and noticed tonight that it has a double facial profile.
Can anyone help me out with the Overton number ? Thanks
I believe it's also a "4 over 4" variety.

Put up a picture of the reverse.

Do you think that star 13 is close to the hair due
to wear? And what's your take on the reverse?
Al
It looks like O-105 (R.2) to me. Just a caution to those who want to check my attribution, the picture for O-105 in the Overton book is incorrect. They are actually showing a pic of O-107 under 105, so you have to attribute by written diagnostics. If your coin has die lines within the left claw, then it is definitely O-105. Your pic of the reverse is too small to be sure.

(O-108a has die cracks above RICA, and I don't see them in the picture)

A star would not "move" closer to the hair by wear. It does appear to be a later die state, as the star points are stretching towards the rim. The probable reason why the star is closer to the curl than normal, is either it was punched that way, or it became closer when/if the die was lapped...

lathmach is correct. Looks like O-108. The plate for the variety in Overton also has a double profile. R.2 variety.
