'33 Ruth--- Why the low grade?

Just wanting the experts ot point out what I've missed. There's gotta be something. It is a beautiful PSA 2 either way!!

    It looks as if there may be a small amount of paper loss on the bottom right corner. I have a PSA 3 of the same card, and that is the only difference I can see. It may not even be paper loss.

    Yep -- paper loss in the lower, right corner. It's a very nice looking card for the grade.
  • If you look at the back along the bottom, you can clearly see where the red "Big League Chewing Gum" bled through from the card it was stacked on top of for 50 years.

    That kind of "bleed" is common on Goudeys and happened from sheets being stacked on top of each other before the ink dried.
