OT: Lion

I think the table plaque, of which this is a detail, has been in my family for several decades. I do not know anything about it, but it is quite massive for its size, and apparently well executed. No matter how closely I look, however, I cannot find a signature.

    I've seen the plaque it's a part of before, but unfortunately cannot recall its provenance. It's a stunning design, though!! You ought to try to show a pic of the entire plaque just to give a hint of its attractiveness.

    The item is roughly 6.5" x 4", in the form of free form rectangle. When I have the opportunity, I will try to create an image small enough to make an attachment.
