I will be in Austin Texas the weekend of Nov12-15. Are there any coin shows near by that weekend? How about any coin shops? Anything?????

    A great shop in Austin is McBride's Coin Department (it is connected to McBride's Gun Shop). It is run by two wonderful women who are friendly and honest. It is located just north of the UT Campus, off Lamar. It is your basic, full-service shop directed at collectors . . . worth a visit.

    Two additional shops that are worth visiting are the Village Coin Shop (up north) and Aus-Tex Coins (down south, but call first as they sometimes are not in the shop).
