Thanks. I have a 32 I could put in my set, but I've been waiting on the 33.
Very interesting on the auctions. I have several 32's which I paid very little money for. I also have a 33 that is raw and 62-63'ish that I paid about $150 for.
I thought I was getting a screaming deal on a 1972/72 but when the Lincoln arrived I see strong doubling everywhere but the date! That's what I wanted.
I learned PCGS will holder the "wanna-be, lesser than" Doubled Dies.
It is a somewhat interesting anomoly that ever since PCGS "split" the '71-S DDO (FS-032 & FS-033) & the '60 Large/Small (FS-023 & FS-025) into 2 separate coin numbers, they have continued to allow EITHER of the '71'S's into the registry set (but still not the FS-033.1) but have now disallowed the FS-023 which is the one they designate as the tripled die obverse. Until the split, they slabbed BOTH the '60's as L/S (& FS-024 as the S/L).
I KNOW the pic shows an FS-032. That's the whole point. Now 3 have voted I'm missing something (or were they voting that THEY were missing something ) but NONE have told me what.

Can an FS-32 fill the hole in the Registry Set? I was under the impression that the Registry only counted the FS-33. But this makes me wonder.

I've learned my lesson!

Whoever Voted That "I'm Missing Something",
Please tell me what

If I knewwhat I was missing, I wouldn't have checked that box!
I can't believe someone would pay that for a 32. Maybe I should take offers on the NGC PR68CAM I have?
